Our customers vary from display and furniture manufacturers to window and door
manufacturers. Besides replacing wood, we also produce parts to replace rolled
steel and aluminum-finished or colored to meet specific customer needs. We would
be pleased to work with your engineers in designing products to meet your specifications.
The expanded PVC process developed by Gossen is called the free expansion of PVC.
This method eliminates PVC stress found in lesser processes. Gossen has developed
several compound variations that offer products with a specific gravity (density)
of .45 - .70. Much lower than wood, the lack of stress in these products makes
them easy to staple, nail, and fabricate, and, are more stable than wood. Our
compounds carry a UL-VO-94 rating, the best rating a product can achieve for
vertical fire testing. Our compounds also test very low in smoke contribution.
In order to meet the needs of the Window and door industry, Gossen developed the
Celuka Process for extrusion of Cellular PVC. This process allows us to produce
parts to tighter tolerances for these customers. This process also offers a very
hard surface and has a specific gravity (density) of .55 to .80.
